I was appointed to the Huddersfield Laund Hill Community Club board in July 2020, having previously sat on the Huddersfield YMCA Board since 2018.
As a qualified chartered accountant and a previous stockbroker my main role on the Board is to look after the financial side of the club as well as the legal documents such as drafting the new Club constitution and negotiating the lease with the HGCT.
I have worked in the commercial world for over 35 years from stockbroking to chartered accountancy and finally for 26 years as Global Operations Director for local firm Mamas & Papas Limited. I have also created a property rental and Development Company, all of which hopefully gives me a broad experience that I can share with the board and help promote the community club.
I am currently the Chairman of the football section at the club, where we have 18 junior football teams and 2 senior teams, and where we aim to develop grass roots football for all age groups.
